Summer Reading List

• The attached K-12 Summer Reading Guidelines document is to be used by schools as a model or to support their existing school summer reading plans. 

• Included in this document are suggested book titles by grade level and genre, and summer reading activities to accompany the reading of the texts.

• The district's K-12 Summer Reading Guidelines which provides book lists and activities per grade level is available at Language Arts Reading http://languageartsreading.dadeschools.net/, Library Media Services http://read.dadeschools.net/ , and Teaching Books.net http://www.teachingbooks.net/miamidade.

• Parents and students will have access to booklists and activities by grade level at virtuallibrary@dadeschools.net.
